I have done a little more cooking since my honey moved in. I should say WE have dome a little more cooking. He is actually a great cook and the monkey and I really enjoy having someone treat us at home. We make things I have never cooked before so I'm even getting to learn from him. The best part is cooking TOGETHER. It is so much more fun! Of course, that means I have to help clean up too, which is probably my least favorite cleaning job, but I suppose it is worth it.
I don't usually take pictures of meals that I cook, but I've been a bit inspired by the Pioneer Woman. That Ree Drummond is about the cutest thing ever! I love her blog, books and her new show. I love the way she posts recipes with step by step photos. It makes it easier for me to try new things, knowing I have a photo to compare to my dish. Anyway, I made French Toast the other day and snapped a few pics. It turned out delicious. I had a few pieces left over and I think it was even better the next day.

Tonight we made pizza. The monkey is not home so we will be doing this again soon so she can help.
We used package pizza crust since this was our first time and we weren't feeling brave enough to make our own. Maybe next time.

It turned out very nicely and we will definitely be making this again! I'm hoping next time we make our own crust and it turns out even better. Not that this wasn't delicious!
